It’s no secret that I’m a big mango lover, that odd creamy, juicy, love-child-of-a-tangerine-and-creamy-banana kind of fruit that I’m so partial to, so when I heard there was a mango/coconut lolly out there, I was all over it. That’s my thing. Previously, I had a love affair with these Mango Smoothie lollies that Tesco used to sell (I still love them to this day), but it’s been a while since they’ve been around and even though they’re gone, my mango love is undiminished. The mango fire still burns in me.
So I bought the mango/coconut lollies and wouldn’t you know I ate all 5 in a day. It’s not that I’m really greedy (!) … but they were exceptionally good. The sweet juicy mango was elevated by the coconut into something else, something beautiful that a mango alone cannot accomplish. It is greater than the sum of its parts. It’s juicy. It’s mellow. It’s slightly tropical. It is the Voltron of fruits, only in two parts and not five, and made of fruits and not animated robots. It is Robson & Gerome. It is Morecombe & Wise. Magnificent together. The mighty mango up front getting all the attention, and our straight man, the cool, calm coconut there in the background. I had empty lolly wrappers beside me and that taste still on my lips and I tell you, I was inspired. Inspired to buy more lollies, but more, to capture this taste in a vape so it can be with me always, where it belongs.
And now it is done. That exotic, mellow, chilled (but not too chilled) milky fruit flavour, bottled in vape form. It’s my new favourite (but it’s a tasty mango, why wouldn’t it be). I hope you love it as much as I do, and maybe one day, if you ever find these mango/coconut lollies, you’ll think of me and remember me fondly.
